Keeping up with phonics ... but little else

We've been away from home for the last week. We drove to Yreka (with a stop in Chico to drop off MB gear and visit briefly with Sym) last Wednesday. After we checked in to our motel Sayer did 3 pages of ETC, then we headed off for dinner. Thursday we drove on up to Tigard, OR, the site of one of last weekend's MB events (the less successful one). After we checked in Sayer did 6 pages of ETC. She did 6 pages Friday morning before Cathy and her girls arrived to stay with us and help with MB and with child care during the event. She did another 6 pages on Saturday and Sunday, but yesterday we slacked. To be fair, she did read for an hour at Barnes & Noble ... but no phonics. She did 6 pages today, leaving 5 for tomorrow, plus the test at the end of the book.

So, we're managing to keep up with phonics. And with reading. But not so much on math or history or science ... Maybe when we're camping with Chanda in a week she can help us get back on track with those ... :)
