We drove up to Chico today to spend the afternoon helping another friend dealing with the loss of a family member. The kids were entertained with Harry Potter and a random Baby Einsteins disc I grabbed from the DVD wallet without looking on the drive. They both laughed like mad during the whole half hour of the Baby Einsteins DVD. Except when they sang along with the ABC song. Crazy kiddos.
Both kids were asleep when we got home (at 10 PM), but Sayer woke enough to ask for a bedtime story from the Chinese legends book. I told her we'd read lots of them tomorrow. Tomorrow I also need to remember that her dance class is at 12:30, not at 5?15. I can manage that, right?
